About Me

I've been creative since I was a kid in Detroit watching Mr. Dressup; now I live in the 'burbs and watch HGTV. That
kid with the bowl hair cut is alive and well and looking
to do great things... minus the bowl hair cut, of course.

I'm self-motivated and extremely detail-oriented with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. I'm also "Monk-ish" in my organizational skills. I take great pride in my work and excel both in working on my own and in team projects.

My range extends from print to web to social media. I am well versed in traditional design, such as direct mail pieces, catalog design and layout, business cards, stationery, typography, logos and posters as well as web sites that focus on design, navigation, structure, and ease of use for the end user. I also enjoy the challenge of writing witty, eye-catching copy and have experience with wayfinding systems and signage.

I'm a passionate Artist / Designer / Art Director with skills extending from Graphic and Web Design to Branding and Social Media. I enjoy the challenge of Email Marketing Campaigns and creating eBlasts. I'm adept at finding information on the web, utilizing new tools, building relationships, and making new connections. I'm especially good at naming brands, companies, domains and products.

Recently, I've simultaneously developed and maintained new brand identities for three brands across two companies, dozens of products and multiple catalogs, resulting in stronger brand images and products being carried nationally.
